but come on, Koan... when it comes to the time some Celt tribes took to Italy... it was cold where they came from. of course they were interested in the balmy lands of Italy.

When the Catholic Church came to Ireland it of course did so from long distance, and so the native ways held sway for awhile. that meant women also learned the Gospels and taught and spoke of them. Then Rome (the new Rome of The Church) got annoyed at this and put an end to women participating.

Brutal in ways, perhaps... but as a woman, Romans of any age interest me not in the least in terms of being one.
