Buffet would have to get half his brain removed before he thought
KO is a "good buy". The problem is that he can't unload. He's stuck.
Buffett is not going to buy any more KO. KO is insanely overvalued.
Analysts expect this dec. earnings to be in the 0.38 range as compared
to dec. 96 when it earned 0.41. So how much would you pay for a stock
with an expected negative growth rate? How about a growth rate of
(at best) 13% which is predicated upon a worlwide surge in the
demand for black sugar water? A world wide demand based on worldwide
economic prosperity which is now in jeopardy in Asia and and Latin
America. The big boys are just trading this stock among themselves
hoping to lure a few more suckers into buying it. Sure, they can run it all the way back to 70. But eventually this stock will correct
to 25 or so ... sooner or later. BTW, have you noticed how fewer and
fewer people are drinking the black sugar water?
