Gold will have a correction and USD will go up, but
I think chances of a major correction are rather slim.
In case of relatively slow drifting, the markets can do
their own things.

Panics like 2008 are very rare. -g-

Personally, I hold the metal, not GLD, and I have no clue
why anyone would be exchanging the metal for greenbucks
with these kind of fundamentals. Gold gets occasionally
overbought and manipulated, but shipping the metal back only
made sense last year, when gold stocks just got way too
cheap. U.S. Total sovereign debt, GAAP, exceeds the GDP of the
World. I am now back to my 70% metal:30% pm equities ratio,
and I am comfortable with that. -g-
