i'm not sure anyone applies an inflation adjusted number. i thought you meant broadly speaking across the industry. not sure abx is a good example at all for that, and is a work in progress for anyone bullish on it. in contrast, look at newmont among the first tier. and always the forward look is the one applied, less so though than the one that was applied to the internet/tech stocks not so long ago. iow, i'm still not sure what you meant the first time when i asked.
