What would be a real deal breaker for me personally is if the government takes over and *prohibits* private payments for procedures and tests. Imo, prohibiting private healthcare can be called fascist or communist... in a word, totalitarian.

I concur. I fuss mightily about the changes we can expect to see because my humanism and sense of statesmanship compel me to stand up against such wrongheadedness. But the reality is it won't really affect me on a practical level all that much until and unless they ban private health care, which is not likely to happen in my lifetime. For me, though, that's the critical line that absolutely cannot be passed. It would be a declaration of war.
