Fred,

If I, like you, were reading this thread for first time, I would reach the same conclusion. However, may I suggest that you are be a bit more patient. Speaking for myself, I have been reading this thread for close to 12 months now and, recently, I decided to become a member of the SI, just because I felt that the quality of information that has been posted in the NXTL (as well other companies') threads have been very constructive and useful (at least for me). By the way, I am a NXTL shareholder and have been for over 3 years. I have been following the company quite closely but, yet, I cannot replicate the wealth of information that comes across this thread.

Clearly, the recent postings of a particular individual have been out of the ordinary, ranging from colorful, wacky, to ... allien and non-sensical. I really don't know what is his case but, frankly, I do not care. Hey, this is a free country and the response is the "next" button. Ignore the trash and focus on the really good quality of information that has been posted by Arnie, Buba, Ramsey (and many others). Go back to the listings of these individuals and then you will appreciate what I am talking about. As to NXTL, I believe is a great company with tremendous upside potential but, like an other start-ups, it entails risk. Anyway, this is my personal take...

Fred, I suggest you take more than 10 minutes and read at LEAST the last 30 days posts. There really is a wealth of information here. You may even consider calling Nextel's PR department. Hopefully this won't require too much effort on your part.

Frederick, I agree with both Wonderbread and Tavros. You just happen on this thread around Halloween and shortly after a very strange poster showed up. I too suggest you go back a couple of hundered post and catch up on the dialog. The quality of the posts is without match on SI as best I can discern. Arnie,Bubba and others are top flight. There is some humor, but within the bounds of sensibility. Stay tuned.

Mark

FRED: THERE IS GOOD INFO HERE, BUT SOCIAL CLICKS ALSO!

I, like you, was interested in getting NEXTEL info. I want to trade stock, in a sound company. Purpose, to make money! I also read and followed the threads. However, after a while I got somewhat bored trying to absorb wireless technical information, most of it is in abbreviated code. I to, wanted to raise discussions re: valuation and competition. However I was just jumped on by people that refuse to see another view. The objectivity and assistance didn't happen! This is basically a one sided thread. There are two participants, Bubba and Ramsey, whose posts can be extra helpful, on occasion, because, they can be, at times, open minded. If you are intersted in technical information concerning, signal compression, and company valuation due to subscription ratios, this is the place to be. If you want to predict the scope of the stock increse or decrease, your decision to look elsewhere, is a sound one.

For my part, my controversy and oddity is gone, by popular demand, and I soon will be gone when the stock appreciates to a point that I can get out.

Nextel was and is a good investment, but perhaps not until this recent smoke clears.

Please don't hold my black humor against the others here. I'm temporary and they are permanent. I will take full responsibity for inciting some of their, non professional responses, because, at times I haven't been acting professional.

Good investing

Al

Fredrick,

I don't understand your post. Did you do read just the last few days
of the posts? What independent research have you done on Nexel?

Not much or you aren't into sharing what you know. This thread had
historically provided a wealth of detailed financial, marketing,
and first hand reporting on Nextel, all to the benefit of the parties
on the thread.

If your such a short term player that Turkey Day is too long a wait
for you then please don't frequent this thread in the future. We won't
miss you.

George
