<On top of that, because I am American Indian, I can't really drink either?

In the old days the differences in alcohol tolerances were ascribed to racial differences and that was that. Nowadays the molecular biologist can tell you the exact gene expressions you have (or lack) that account for the metabolism of alcohol. Same goes with a lot of other drugs, some very common, that people react to differently. Like it or not, in the future your prescribed medication and its dosage will be determined by your analyzed genetic structure. That analysis will also tell your health insurance company if you are a bad risk. We need universal coverage in this country now before this happens (and it will).
