I don't subscribe to WS any more, but a friend who does commented that the list was much more full of "affordable" wines than in the past. E.g., #34, the Swan Cuvee de Trois Pinot is rarely considered Rod's best Pinot (although it was rated quite highly by WS this year), but at its relatively low cost it is smashingly good value.

no idea... i made the comment as a reference.... while i will admit i use parker's rating *as reference* i trust my own palate to say i like (or not) a wine.

so it was under such idea i made the reference.
