Sadly, nearly 50 years since Rand wrote this, the United States is still pursuing the failed policies of "economic stimulus," bailouts, and ever-increasing government control of numerous industries. The sooner we learn the economic lessons of Rand, the sooner we may return to a state of greater prosperity and freedom for ourselves and future generations.

Our elected officials have had plenty of examples of what not to do if and when they try to improve the economy ie. increasing taxes, increasing mandates to business, over burdening with regulations......

WHY, should we have to duplicate programs (healthcare) on a national level when it's failed miserably in every state it's been tried in? Tenn, Me., Mass all glaring failures with serious repercussions for the states involved..... This is worse than insanity, this is terminal stupidity......

Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving Peter.....
