Jerald;

Thats sort of my point of veiw also, but then again, why announce the Sylvan deal after earnings... Just speculating... and do not want to add any fuel to this if it is a non-event for IDX. But here is a post from AOL. I seem to get into a lot of trouble when trying to read between the lines...

Subject: Internet solution --the holy grail

Randy keeps metioning the Internet transactions--- Must be a generally accepted NON FBI Language --- The leader in biometrics offers such a language!!!! IDX!!!
We will soon see the Joint Venture that eventually leads us to THE HOLY GRAIL--every computer in the world-----JMOO

<<AGAIN I do not know if IDX has anything to do with this, just speculating. There I've no "facts" to support this and probably reading to much into it.>>

Hey Jerald! Slap! Weren't you paying attention when I followed up Brad's Illinois school systems post with a little accounting? IL performs 65,000 background checks on school system employees each year and only 3,000 fingerprint checks. 65,000 / 260 business days is 250 printsets per day. If the JV has less than 50 fingerprint centers in Illinois (I expect they will have maybe 10) each center will have more than 5 printsets per day JUST FROM THE SCHOOL SYSTEM! This doesn't even contemplate caregivers as mentioned in Arizona or healthcare professionals or stockbrokers or foster parents or ...

Brad's post indicated that pending legislation in Illinois proposes to fingerprint all new school system employees.

I think Westy's estimates are ridiculously conservative.
