Is that the one in WW? It is. Last week, I ran into a guy I know who is a guard there. He said they may well shut it down in the interest of saving money and in a year or two realize their mistake and then reopen. Of course, the disruption to anyone who works there will be great. People who want to continue with DOC and have seniority would end up moving to another community where DOC has active facilities - Coyote Ridge, Airway Heights, Monroe, etc. Never mind that they just spent millions on a new medium security unit at the Pen. That's money out of last year's budget.
