Really? I think any scientist or academic who falsified data should lose his job and be discredited. That's the way academia and science has handled these situations before. The jail sentences should be handed out to those government officials who lied about the WMD and Al Qaeda in Iraq, which lead to us starting a war that cost 3,000 American lives and $1 trillion. Bush and Cheney would be at the top of that list. However, I do have to hand it to the GW deniers and the GOP who is bought and paid for by oil and coal. They finally found a weapon to use, despite it proving nothing.
