I'm glad you and I are both on board with the administration's actions to force banks to work harder to accommodate troubled borrowers. Apparently, I misunderstood you,

Apparently you still do misunderstand me.

The administration has no right whatsoever to be involved in this issue, other than to make idle threats such as this.

Mortgage companies are in it for the money. What that means is they will, pretty consistently, make the correct decisions on these matters.

In fact, had the government not interfered in their decisionmaking the so-called "financial crisis" would have been avoided altogether.
