Your scrawny pinhead has a hard time conceiving of things that may happen beyond your day-to-day realm. In the long-term, of the order of 100 years, this is a possibility. Of course, you may be long dead by the time of that prospect. And you being "Rapture Ready", probably don't care.

The only scandal with this sub-story is the shockingly high number of stupid Americans who think finding code that supports exactly what is in the literature is a smoking gun. It would be a more notable story if it wasn't included.
I don't think anybody said the earth would boil. You must be thinking of Venus.
