The racist professor and racist President Obama jumped to a false conclusion about the supposedly racist policeman who turned out to be anything but. The episode showed that the professor and Obama are both racist stereotypers leaping to a conclusion about an individual. <The professor that was trying to enter his own house and got in trouble with police (the Mass. black man who eneded up drinking a beer with Obama to sort things out. >

The professor got into trouble for his treatment of the policeman, not for being melanin-rich in the presence of a house. He was noisy, obnoxious, aggressive, racist and anything but professorial. Obama foolishly tried to spread blame equally when it should have been allocated ONLY to his buddy. Obama was wise enough to rapidly retract and try to smooth things over.

Tiger is good. He has sensibly told everyone his personal affairs are none of their business and they can take their prurient interest elsewhere. Good for him. The nosy public thinks they have a right to know everything about everyone. They don't and he could reasonably tell them to go to Hell. But he's too polite to lower himself.
