MM, I think that is true in so many places in government and in private industry as well. In the "good ole' days" most of us wanted to produce a produce/service and be proud that we helped do that. We really knew we earned our salary. Today, many people think the companies are in business to pay them a salary as well as all the benefits in the world! They take for granted they have a RIGHT to 2-3 weeks or more vacation, sick leave paid any time they are sick, Family Leave for 3 months they think should be paid every year, etc... They get their jollies out of how many people, dollars, and resources march to their drum. We got our jollies out of how much we produced, and that is the big difference.
