Phil Jones has stepped down - the announcement makes it sound like its temporary till the investigation is finished. The UEA may try to rig the investigation like the U of Albany did the fraud investigation of Wang. But the heat is on ... I don't think this will work.

And the U of Albany's whitewash of Wang may fall apart too. We now have Wigley in the leaked emails acknowledging its apparent to him Wang committed fraud. The more cons who get sacked the more the momentum to clean house will build. I'll post something on this soon.

The really big spider in the center web of this scandal is Tom Wigley, formerly of the CRU. He runs the UCAR which in turn runs the NCAR - a coalition of universities that seems to control climate research. Though the UCAR/NCAR isn't a federal agency, its funded 95% by the National Science Foundation.
