The planes are private, but I think airports are somewhat subsidized through either municipal bonds or various "authorities" (like Port Authority of NY) that give them aid.

But the bottom line is going to be is how much money is it going to take (rhetorically speaking) to make this a going proposition.

Changing the subject, would you agree that bringing back a military draft is probably the only way to connect the American populace to its foreign policy?
