Why did liberals campaign for a guy who said he was going to send more troops to Afghanistan? I guess they thought he was lying?

They ran around with there fingers in their ears - one of my friends said she voted for him because "he's going to end the war" - I said to her - yeah right, one's on a glide path to ending and the other is going to be expanded - how's that ending the war?
