Why would al quaida follow and not the Cong? They already did, did you forget about 9/11? This is no longer a philosophical issue, this is a matter of survival and national security... the cong was a political matter, nothing more than that... with al quaida, it's a religious and political issue, they view the West as the infadel and must destroy it even if it takes another 1000 years... Can't we just pull out? You mean just roll over and play dead? Sure, then they'll attack us again and make 9/11 look like child's play, they want you and all your family dead, they've already made that clear, and once they get their hands on a nuclear weapon you'll see American cities targeted on a regular basis, what don't you understand?
