Margin call, nothing. The clerk will sell you out Monday.

This put selling by corporations is routine....is generally done after buyback of stock is announced....and I only pick on Plaza because they are the best at trading options, bar none.

I do not mean to imply that corporations do this at the drop of a hat, they do not react that fast. If anything, they will try to prop the stock up for what they believe is the common good.

Personally, I have a problem with that....they dragged out Alex Hamilton in 1929, corporations have jumped in to announce buybacks each time there was a major market selloff, bailing out Indonesia, ... all this is nice. Foreign traders put a shot across the USS Economic bow when they sold off the dollar early Tuesday. That's called a threatened repatriation of capital. Believe what you like....my opinion is the US markets caved in to global pressure and we just have a respite ... a respite before some serious market moves.

Sorry....I stay off most threads because I'm not as optimistic as most.
