What's your take on Afghanistan following the Obama speech?

I recorded it and plan to listen this evening. But from what I've read it's a better plan than it could have been but not as good as it should be (get the fuk out).

The best part is the soft deadline. It creates a sense of urgency for all around the table... including our military.

It wouldn't surprise me if that was part of the discussion. The Pakistan situation is only getting worse. It doesn't get much play in the US media, but other sources indicate that the Paks are in serious trouble.
