That same thought....O has information that would rightfully lead him to conclude success is possible....ran thru my mind, too, lol.

I've been critical of him yesterday and today but do want him to succeed.

The other thought was that maybe enough time has passed that the Afghan tribes will have had their fill of the Taliban and actually will coalesce around a different vision of their governmental potential.

Like John said, it's wait and see time.
