They own the pipeline, and if that goes offline we're toast. With Prudhoe's decline the shipment volume is already so low that it takes about 18 days to pipe a barrel from the North Slope to Valdez. The danger is that they hold off on new development and the pipeline volume falls so low that it has to shut down in ten years.
