JG do you know what derivates are? INTC is the major player in INTC stock. They sell more puts and calls than anyone else. Do a little digging around, I was surprised. They buy back a lot of shares from selling puts as it gets put to them. I am sure there is a lot of mumbo jumbo to it.. But there was a report on which companies were the top dogs in it and IBM used to be there but not anymore due to what you said about ethics. And stocks arent like money you can just print.

>>Oh yes, one other thing, you're the one who saw 8000 contracts of the 90 puts expand to 19000 open interest... and thought someone with the scoop knew earnings were going to be "worse than ..." Guess what, it was only the company selling a sure thing.

Which company was this one? And I never said anything was a sure thing. But if it upsets others for me to post my findings in this thread I wont do it anymore. I only started posting in here to correct some posts about misinformation.
