Harry I just cannot understand a concept that seems foreign to those who believe in military build up. We fail to put ourselves in the shoes of those persons whose country we are occupying. If we had an invasion force here would we like it. If we had drones that killed our parents and bombed our home and we were children would we embrace the United States of would we think I hate you America . When I am older I shall become a terrorist and avenge my family. If we had children who are being born with terrible birth defects which is what is happening in Iraq.... since our weapons contain uranium.... What would we feel ?Love toward the country that liberated us or anger that this had to befall our nation. If we as Christians truly believe in Pro Life how can we support our military going into countries and killing babies and their mothers.. These are inconsistencies that I think about. We always fail to walk in the shoes of our enemy to try to understand him and the implications of all we do as a nation. I am 78 soon to be 79. I have had few years in my life time without a war. World War II was justified. All these others that we have fought I seriously question. I wish all of us on this board would too.
