Prices of physical assets won't necessarily rise due to speculation, but debasing certainly encourages speculation.

Aye, there's the rub (or another rub): if you don't speculate, you will be crushed by debasement; if you do speculate, you may be crushed by a bubble pop.

The end game will be very, very tricky, even for those who think they have it all figured out.
