Plain and simple, we fuck with other people, why are we surprise when people fuck with us. How, exactly, were we "f*cking" with the Taliban to the extent that they justified harboring a terrorist organization who's leader had declared war on the US in 1998, and then orchestrating an attack on the US homeland on 9/11? It certainly wasn't Unocal offering to build a pipeline across Afghanistan, which would have created jobs and economic progress for those people. EVEN IF Al Qai'da wasn't responsible for 9/11, as you conspiratorially believe, Bin Ladin had declared war on the US and thereby declared himself an enemy of America.
