I don't think Californians are alone in approving government projects that don't end up working out. But the vote provides a kind of market survey showing Californians are not so wedded to their cars that they will insist on driving for six hours if they can get somewhere on a train in less than two.

This link should help us figure out what's being done to implement the measure. One thing that's clear is that a web site has been built. ;-)
