An amazing drawing I agree - it shows that a lot of people are looking analytically about Afghanistan. We could imagine the relationship of prayer, toads, demons, angels, the church, confession and vespers with relation to gastrointestinal disease being diagrammed this way in a Medieval Medical School. What's missing? A picture of the typical goat herd/insurgent who makes a trip out of the mountains once a week. That is the face of the Afghanistan. 28 million people averaging $150 or so per year? The diagram really doesn't capture that...
