Cant, you confirm with each post your cultist norms. Thank you for being honest about yourself. The head cultists pretended to be scientists while scuttling around in behind the scenes illegal activities, defrauding the public using public funds and getting more of them to do their nefarious work. You put it right out there for all to see.

It's always amusing when people do free cyberspace psychoanalysis [reputable psychologists don't do free analysis over the internet] : <Jealous? Seems so... That's the crux of it. You're jealous of the benefits educated people often end up with. I mean well-paying jobs, cushy homes, nice cars and good meals. Get a life will you. >

I don't wish to seem lazy, but I have had such jobs and very interesting ones at that, with the travel, hotels, cash flow, nice house, new cars, eat what I like. I prefer to not have to show up at a particular time and work all day. Being retired at age 40 suited me fine. I could dabble in what I liked instead of responding to exigencies of the day.

I admit it was fun to jet off to Stockholm, Vernon, London, for jamborees. The Managing Director did tell me though, when I didn't attend an environmental conference in London because I had plenty of things to get done and they could post me the proceedings which I could read quickly, that we should be seen to do the right thing [we being the New Zealand contingent]. Now I would just say to him "carbon footprint" and thereby avoid the jamboree. I didn't go.

Flying first class from London to NZ was nice. BP Oil would pay for that. I doubt they do now. Unfortunately, while the carved ice vodka serving looked beautiful, I prefer not to drink much so it was somewhat wasted on me. But the travel companions were more classy than one gets in steerage, the seats comfortable and the meals were delicious... yum...

It cost BP a lot to fly our family of 4 children around with us too, but they must have thought it worth it. Business class was comfortable enough. Free high class housing, free private schools, all expenses .... it was a nice lifestyle. They didn't do it because they thought I was uneducated.
