All he needs is money, a political network and anonymity.

Good luck with that in an age where we have RFID Passports and have to give thumb imprints. What you really need is a number of Caves, and Nanawati, moving your money around with Hawala, like Bin Ladin and Zawahiri have to rely upon to stay alive.

That, and the reliance on a political network, suggests that they can't truly be anonymous. Not saying it's impossible, but they have to operate from somewhere, and that usually involves the acquiescence the host nation. Bin Ladin's son, Sa'ad, was supposedly interned in Iran for a number of years, until he was permitted to leave.

populated by people who support those with radical, anti-Amercan agendas.

And doesn't it make logical sense that if they support actions against the American people, they should face the same retaliatory fate?? That's why we're at war with the Taliban. They supported Bin Ladin, providing him sanctuary and using his Arabs as part of their own military forces. They refused to give him up to us after 9/11 (and before)...

They share the same fate... It's no different than the Japanese and Nazi Germany. The Japanese attacked us, but we declared war on all the members of the Axis alliance.

And we didn't really discriminate between who was innocent and who was guilty in that war.

And had people then spewed the kind of defeatist ideas you specialize in, you'd be labeled a traitor.

Sometimes I long for the "good old days"..
