Very true.

Rush is right, the environmental movement has been hijacked by communists who lost the cold war. I'm all for alternative energy sources, but to cut your throat before the alternative is viable destroys capitalism, the goal of socialists.

I believe nuclear fusion, hydroelectric, and hydrogen produced by these technologies is the best course to pursue. Using food to create gasoline for driving your car, when gasoline can be produced from crude oil, is ridiculous.

If the govt wants to dump money into these technologies, I'm all for it, but to raise taxes to obscene levels on current technology with the lie that it will lead to new technologies is absurd.

Reminds me of the cigarette taxes that keep going up. "We're raising taxes on cigarettes because they are bad for you". BS If they are that bad, they should be banned, not used as another source of money for politicians to buy votes with.
