The Russians were next door to Afghanistan & lost, not only the war, lost their pants & broke apart. Now we're gonna schlepp our shit 800 miles over bad roads into a corrupt outpost whose language we don't speak.
That's OK. We're invincible. We can always drop a bomb on em.
