Ok, leaving all your other bs aside for the moment: Please cite an instance where I've "been spreading fearmongering on SI for years about Global Warming". Because , although I mostly believe there is global warming, I am actually fairly circumspect about it. I think it'd be nice to do something about it, mostly because the main thing that can be done about it is energy conservation, which would be a good thing regardless. You know, reduced dependence on middle east and all that other good stuff. But I don't really expect anything to be done, so about all I can do is hope for the best. Anyway, I live in a region where a little global warming is more than welcome this time of year, so on a purely personal level, no worries, as they say in the antipodes. I'm moderately amused that this thread is as obsessed as it is with "climategate", but what the heck, it's a diversion from the obsessive Obama hatred that's normally the main topic in places like this these days.
