(The plain fact of the matter that I believe you are forgetting is that the State has a STRICT data privacy law on it's books.) However there is no doubt about the legal validity of the official certificate of birth... the State stands behind it, and every court in the land that has considered the matter has no problems with it... and it is exactly what each and every citizen of the State is issued when they request their birth certificate.)
