Territory is certainly one of the top two. If you add influence, all those things you listed could hang on the top two real estate and influence. When you've got real estate and influence you can have or command about whatever you want. Threats to either are fight'n words.

Still trying to spin this, I see. Sure, the presented reasons might be something other than territory, but at some point, usually pretty quickly, it is all about boots on the ground and who has what.

Otherwise it isn't a war.
