I believe this attitude has gotten you in trouble once or twice before hasn't it??

There is only one cure. You will have to become the first women to make an entire 75 day undersea patrol in a Nuclear submarine to rid yourself of this decadent elitism. :-)

That and ONLY that will cure you once and for all. If you wish Janis could be the skipper, since she has already made a small journey. (but you can't sleep in her cabin)

I'm sure your husband will go along to support you in this treatment effort.

Michael

You are an ungrately foolish youth. Prop 13 is a saviour to this fair state. It helped to trim back that ever virulent growth of governmentally employed and socially unneccessary state bureaucracy. Talk about scary things.

Imagine if you will, a windy dark and spooky night, you are arriving home, a bit late from your second job, necessary to pay the bills, especially The One...you reach into the governmentally specified official mail container and remove that annual envelope delivered by your local postie. Yours knees start trembling involuntarily and your hands quiver as they tear the end off. Out of it you pull The Bill and The Two Envelopes. There in your shaking hands you see the reason for your labor. ARRRRGH!

You may not remember but taxes were going up so quickly that they were driving older people on fixed incomes to do desparate things and would eventually be forced from their homes. Now the gov'mint has to be much more tricky and savy to figure out ways to increase their annual take, but at least your last home will not be an option for them. They are getting pretty creative with special taxes and levies.

You don't happen to live in Ruby Hill do you ? Now just imagine taht place with no Prop 13 ? Talk about scary...
