"What does a win in Afghanistan look like?"

Getting out without the last plane being shot at.
(eg "Eventually they negotiated a cease fire with various leaders so they could just exit.")

"a total of 620,000 soldiers served with the forces in Afghanistan over the 9 year window."
That's sorta deceptive. Looks like there were "only" 118K at the peak.

Win what? What does a win in Afghanistan look like?

Yep...that's where I'm stuck. That plus the price tag have me solidly in the camp that disapprove.

I believe O will start bringing home troops on the deadline and will come up with an argument to claim victory no matter what the facts on the ground are. But it still won't make it the right decision.
