I think the worst, as in the riskiest part of the downturn, has been over for some time...the question will be how quickly and/or sharply we recover.


I agree. Most people are saying recovery will be slow but I think that's overly negative. I think we might be surprised at the pace.

A steady, if slow, recovery would be an optimistic scenario in my opinion.

More likely is that the bill is going to come due for all of the debt, including that which is financing "porkulus," Obamacare, and other entitlement programs, not to mention that which is still keeping real estate and our consumer-driven economy alive.

All IMO, but the turnaround in the unemployment rate signals a close in this current chapter.
