In Iraq, did we or did we not invade, set up bases, replaced the government and in general took over the entire country?

While we set up some bases, we did NOT take over the entire country (and in fact, most of our soldiers are confined to FOBs most of the time) and those bases are temporary in nature, subject to decommissioning at any time.

Bases are, in effect, a necessary tool of those who are engaged in foreign wars. That in no way suggests the war is "about" the bases. The Iraq War isn't about territory in any way, shape or form.

You have been defeated on this argument. You are wrong. And as usual, you simply cannot bring yourself to admit it. Fine. It is you who looks foolish.
