Yes that's it, Salsalito. I should have remembered that because my husband's assistant remarried and moved to California and she rode the ferry in to work daily. Their home was just above the harbor and we stayed with them one night while there and had breakfast on their patio and we could see all the house boats below. They loved living there, but have returned to Texas now because of her daughters still living here and her grandchildren. They were lucky enough to sell their home for the price they wanted as it was a well built one with a wonderful floor plan.

Our snow has now stopped and people are preparing to go home and driving slowly. Trucks are now parked under our freeways to go out and put chemicals out again if they are advised of any slick overpasses or ice patches on any road. Houston takes this type of weather very seriously and so far have not had any major accidents to report. Lots of events have been canceled though because of it. The downtown drive in to work went smoothly because everyone drove very slowly and lots of bumper to bumper but no fender benders from it. Most left earlier than usual considering the weather.

It's time for me to go down and start the chili so I'll bid you a good evening wish. Heard on the news our temperature will be down in the mid twenties and freezing in the morning. I simply do not enjoy that kind of cold weather so I will probably hibernate tomorrow as well in my cozy home. I have enjoyed hanging around my computer most of today.
