A country ceases to be sovereign when it loses control of its borders and allows terrorists seek refuge in their country. During the campaign, Obama was very clear when he said that that we would use force when we have actionable intelligence on terrorists. I have not advocated that we cut and run. Instead, I have supported the war on terrorism as a police and not military issue. Hence instead of boots in civilian areas, we need to have intelligence folks seeking out the hideouts of terrorists and calling in for drone strikes on these dens.
