The problem is that all these new lines of business have nothing to do with Dell's successful business model, which is build-to-order directly for the customer. He'd have better success if he bought Saab and started making build-to-order cars. It's more in line with his forte. I actually suggested that he get into the build-to-order car business on this site about a decade ago, but I guess he wasn't reading that day. <g>
