Actually, because anyone can edit, it is unlikely to have flawed information for very long. Studies have shown that with rare exceptions, and usually excluding highly topical and/or controversial subjects, the information is as good as a "real" encyclopedia and it will be years newer.

In my technical fields, I've yet to find a major technical or factual error in one of the articles. This is just a point measure, but similarly I've found that others say the same thing. A couple of the entries are mine (well, I started them). They were based upon first hand information (one was a particular type of motorcycle and the other a scotch distillery about 20 km from where I lived and worked). Are there errors? Yes. Like any document. It is a great first place for information.
