For a while, Tiger Woods has seemed more volatile than normal [in golf]. Golf is always frustrating, but he knows that and is acclimatized to it. His emotional state seemed to have more to it than that.

Now we are seeing more to the reason.

His father said that when he got a Honey-do, Tiger's golf would be tested. "Honey do this, honey do that ..."

With a dead father figure as powerful as him and with the pressure of it all, plus the lack of amorphous freedom, plus the Honey-do effect, along with the temptations of gorgeous women throwing themselves, and possibly the escapism of illicit substances, [as Andre Agassi admitted and as swarms of the rich and famous and unbounded have discovered to their regret or death], his on-course behaviour makes sense to me now.

He has a real challenge now: unbounded self-determination.

Not to mention the worlds' biggest challenge [from his father] - Tiger will do more than any individual to change the course of the world...

Now there's an expectation to live up to, or not...

Adopting humility is no bad thing. A good first step, after proving amazing ability, focus and effort. He certainly can get attention if he wants it. He could announce he is now re-establishing the UN into another form and he would immediately have a swarm of supporters. He seems unlikely to invent a new aspect of physics. Perhaps a religion fit for the 21st century?

Where to from here?

He can't stand being contradicted. Some sort of ego problem there. Maurice seems to have banned himself.
