check out NOAA's temp reading sites, 67% are within feet of a heat source.

I've noticed it's warmer by my fire place than by the frig. what's up with that ?

oh bummer! Whose recorded history? Where is the documentation for your statements? As a chartist I would say 1998 Second highest recorded temperatures, 2001 highest recorded temperatures ever, 2008 Third highest temperatures ever recorded would indicate a definite down trend. It doesn't take a genius or a chartist to see the downtrend pattern formed with those quoted figures. You have a tendency to just ignore request for proof of your Bee Ess propaganda.
Where is the documentation for thousands of recorded high temperatures versus about half the number of recorded low temperatures for the past nine years?
