Thanks. I would like to see ASND form a clear base and move up again before putting any money on the table. I was knocked around by CSCO and XYLN earlier this year so I'm cautious. Please keep me posted on ASND's progress; I tend to keep too many stocks on my watch lists and miss the occasional turning point if I haven't looked closely at a particular stock in a few weeks.

I'm trying to learn a bit of TA to supplement my bias toward fundamental analysis. It could help with timing buys and sells in the future. ASND's fast MACD line could cross the slow line soon and the MACD histogram could be turning up. Also sitting on the lower Bollinger band line.

ASND bears careful watching. Good luck.

Skeeter, with continued weakness in the techs, I took a closer look at ASND with a view to playing it both ways, maybe shorting it the rest of the way down then shifting at the bottom if and when it bounces.

The only support at this level goes back to late 1995. Do you have a floor in mind for ASND? The forward PE suggests $21 might be a "value" bottom (but I find different PE's on Yahoo, Briefing and BigCharts, depending on how they counted the charges from previous mergers).
