<it sounds like you have difficulty DOING even ONE thing at a time. Never assume that others have the same limitations as yourself. And you seem to have plenty of limitations. Paul>
Stop goofing around, Paul. Tell us about your 3 or 4 "serious graphics" applications you run on your PERSONAL computer SIMULTANEOUSLY, please. (I'd like to hear stories how proficient you are when ruling your computer via XT-keyboard...)

Paul, >>>You may have difficulty running more than one program at a time. In fact, it sounds like you have difficulty DOING even ONE thing at a time.<<<

I scan photos into Adobe PhotoShop, you know those 80MB pdd files and then I add text using MSWord (Im not too adept at using Adobes text editing) and then I add some of my own art work using Corel Draw and I take it to Print Shop Pro to Buttonize it and then Gif Construction Set to animate the darn thing and I go back to Adobe to touch up on my photograph. Darn - sometimes my system kind of hangs up. What do I do now, Paul?

I know, I know, I should really learn how to use these things so I don't have to go back and forth - it just that some of these things are so counter intuitive - I just don't have time to dig deep into them.

Other times I have to go into my Oracle database, extract some data and dump it into Excel and then include it in my Powerpoint prsentation. Sometimes I have to go back and forth a number of times, and my system hangs up - I have to reboot and start over again. 3 or four hours go by very quickly when you are having a good time.

And, wouldn't you know it, when my system goes down like this, I'm usually running some regression analysis and simulation models in background.

And, then my dish washing has to wait.

You really have to do something to help me out.

Mary
