That's the right sort of idea. But "be done in two minutes" is hopeless. It doesn't take 2 minutes to swap a battery.

They make too much of an issue of environment. Electric cars are a matter of cost; capital, mechanical and operating costs.

The solution to road congestion isn't alternative routes, to avoid a mess in one place, it's congestion based road tolls and auto-drive vehicles.
